Application are now open for the 2024 FCMB AgriTech Hackathon and Venture Building Program. The Programme is supported by FCMB and FMO – Dutch entrepreneurial development bank. The program seeks to identify, and groom early-stage businesses across Africa.
The project will run for 6 months across two major phases:
- Hackathon
- Venture Building
Agribusiness for Economic Growth
Data Management for Smallholder Farmers
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the FCMB Hackathon and Venture Building Program 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Stage of Idea:Your business idea should be in the early stages of development.
- Team:You should have a team with a mix of skills and experience relevant to building an Agritech business. This could include experience in agriculture, technology, business development, and marketing.
- Passion for Agriculture:You should have a strong passion for agriculture and a desire to make a positive impact in the industry.
- Commitment:You should be committed to participating fully in the program and working hard to develop your venture.
- Legal:Be a legally registered company either as a business name or limited, individual teams of hackers are also encouraged to apply to the hackathon.
