The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) with the Africa Art Fund, is organising this Art Competition to promote the creativity and visual expressions of Nigeria-based artists (35 years and under) and their visions for a shared future.

Eligibility

Only Nigeria-based artists aged 35 and under are eligible to participate. Parents/guardians’ consent is required for artists under 18.

Selection Criteria

• Uniqueness and creativity in the conceptual approach and artistic vision.
• Skill in utilising chosen mediums, techniques, and tools, with a focus on precision, detail, and overall execution
• Effectiveness in interpreting and reflecting the theme- depth and clarity of thematic exploration and personal interpretation.

• Emotional impact and storytelling elements, with an emphasis on the ability to evoke feelings and convey a coherent narrative
• Overall presentation- composition, color harmony, balance, and spatial organisation

21st September 2024: The jury will select 20 finalists for the NES #30 Art Exhibition

Delivery of the physical artworks to Abuja

30th September 2024: The 20 finalists will be required to deliver their physical artworks to Abuja.

Notification of winners

Exhibition of artworks

13th October 2024 to 16th October 2024
